Our final diner review! And again it’s not really a diner, but you simply cannot stop in Montreal without visiting Schwartz’s.
We’re back! Here’s our first post-Christmas diner review for you to enjoy.
On Boxing Day, December 26th, Geoff and I went with Pat (Geoff’s mother), Claire (his sister) and Leo (his nephew) to Steve’s 50’s Diner Restaurant in Riverview New Brunswick, which is just outside of Moncton.

Well, we didn’t make it to Hampton Beach as planned, owing to yet another snowstorm. Tonight we stopped outside of Albany, NY and had supper at the Half Moon Diner. (Forgot to get a shot of the outside, so here’s the google streetview. Imagine the same but with more snow)
Today we stopped at Manley’s Restaurant on Route 4 in Kingsbury NY, or perhaps it’s Manley’s Route 4 Restaurant in Hudson Falls NY, google is unclear on this point. One thing is certain though, it was delicious.
As Geoff put it, this was our first honest to goodness down home diner, no fancy chrome anywhere, just pure country diner, complete with wood paneling.
